Our members

Our members come from diverse backgrounds. Our youngest member is 18 years old, and the oldest is, well, lets just say 'retired' from the workforce.  We have members who are from varied ethnic origins, occupations and social backgrounds. Toastmasters welcomes people from all backgrounds, and of all ages (18 and over).

Some Toastmasters clubs are business based clubs. Some of these, for security reasons, limit membership to only their employees. However, the Cranbourne Toastmasters Club is a community based club, and is not subject to such restrictions.

The common theme that seems to bond all Toastmasters is that we have gone to Toastmasters to try to develop communication skills, build confidence, and overcome our nervousness at public speaking (even in one-on-one situations).

Cranbourne Toastmasters prides itself on being a fairly 'informal' club, and we make a point of having fun while we learn and develop.
