Social events

Yes, you are allowed to have fun at Toastmasters. Apart from the occasional car rally or barbeque (neither of which are frequent enough!), Cranbourne Toastmasters has been known to celebrate milestones in its history. One particularly memorable occasion was the Club's 15th Birthday Party. What better way to celebrate than for each of us to come dressed as a 15-year old.  Not everyone dressed as a 15-year old -- we had a couple of people dress up as Headmaster and Headmistress. It was a night of humorous speeches and table-topics with some naughty little boys and girls.

Bear in mind that we do have fun at Toastmasters during regular meetings also!

Arguably the best social event in the 'District 73' calendar is the District 73 Convention. This is a great opportunity to join members from all parts of the district and to have a variety of entertainment (usually including a dinner dance, live music, internationally renowned guest speakers,  and more), District Contests and great workshops. These are always great fun and very memorable events. Convention news and details are normally posted on the District 73 website.
